On the night of November 15, the Russian army launched another massive attack on Ukraine, using three Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles and 135 attack UAVs of the Shahed , Gerber, and other models.

The Ukrainian Air Force reported this.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Border Guard Service noted that the Russians launched the Kinzhal missiles from the airspace of the Tambov region of the Russian Federation.
The enemy launched drones in the following areas: Kursk, Millerovo, Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Bryansk (Russia), as well as Chauda and Gvardeyskoye in temporarily occupied Crimea. About 80 of them were Shahed -type drones.

The following were involved in countering the massive attack:

  • aviation;

  • anti-aircraft missile forces units;

  • electronic warfare and unmanned aerial vehicle systems units;

  • mobile fire teams.

“According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, the air defense shot down/suppressed two Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles and 91 enemy Shahed, Gerbera, and other types of UAVs in the north, south, and east of the country,” the Air Force reported.

The PS also clarified that one missile and 41 attack UAVs were hit in 13 locations, as well as debris from downed drones falling in four locations.

As of 09:03, the air raid alert was still active, with individual enemy drones still in the airspace.
