Russia lost another 1,210 soldiers in a day — General Staff

Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army has lost another 1,210 servicemen in the war against Ukraine. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the total losses of the Russian Federation have reached about 1,455,420 people.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to updated data, as of August 7, 2026, the total combat losses of Russian troops are approximately:

• • personnel — about 1,455,420 (+1,210) military personnel;

• • tanks — 12,247 (+1);

• • armored combat vehicles — 25,098 (+11);

• • artillery systems — 47,522 (+67);

• • MLRS — 2,008 (+2);

• • air defense systems — 1,550 (+3);

• • ground robotic complexes — 2,152 (+14);

• • Operational-tactical level UAVs — 447,855 (+1,589);

• • automotive equipment and tank trucks — 131,068 (+386);

• • special equipment — 4,502 (+6).

In particular, the General Staff emphasized that data on the final losses of Russian troops is currently being clarified.
