Russia massively attacked Kyiv and the region: there are dead and injured

This was reported by the head of the Kyiv Military District, Timur Tkachenko , and the Kyiv City Military Administration.

Three people were killed and five others injured in Kyiv. During the night, Russian forces repeatedly fired missiles towards the capital. KMVA reported high-speed targets moving towards Kyiv, particularly from the south of the region.

In the Solomyanskyi district of the capital, two children were among the victims. Also in the Dniprovskyi district, a fire was recorded in the non-residential sector. Information about a fire in a residential building, which was reported earlier, was later not confirmed.

In the Kyiv region, one person was killed and nine others were injured, including a child. In Boryspil, a Russian attack damaged a five-story apartment building. Cars caught fire in the parking lot near it, the fire has already been extinguished. 48 people were evacuated from the building.

A company in the city was also damaged, killing one person and injuring another. Rescuers, medics, and police are working on the scene to eliminate the consequences of the attack.

Earlier it was reported that on the morning of August 31, Russian forces carried out an airstrike on Sloviansk, Donetsk region, dropping a FAB-500. As a result of the strike, the entrance of a high-rise building was destroyed, at least 32 high-rise buildings, a hotel, a kindergarten and cars were damaged. Four people were injured.
