Russia massively attacked the Odessa region: two “Epicenters” are burning

Russian troops launched a massive attack on the Odessa region with missiles and drones on the night of August 24. After the strike, one of the stores of the Epicenter chain caught fire.

This was announced by the head of the Odessa Oblast Administrative Organization, Oleg Kiper.

According to him, the main blow fell on food warehouses and energy infrastructure facilities. Private houses were also damaged, and fires broke out at the sites of the hits.

Local media report a fire at the Epicenter store near the village of Kotovskogo. Another fire broke out at the chain’s store on the 7th kilometer of the Ovidiopolska road.

As reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, as a result of the Russian attack, energy and gas infrastructure facilities, as well as warehouses, caught fire.

In addition, summer houses were damaged, near which dry grass caught fire. A fire broke out in a forest belt in the suburbs of Odessa. Rescuers have already extinguished all fires.

According to preliminary data, there are no deaths or injuries.

As a reminder, on August 23, Russian forces twice attacked the plant of the American company Mondelēz International in Trostyanka, Sumy Oblast, with drones. The strikes damaged the company’s administrative and production buildings, and five employees were injured.
