Russia massively attacked Zaporizhzhia with drones: residential buildings damaged, there are injured

On the night of Wednesday, June 17, Russian occupation forces attacked Zaporizhia with drone strikes. Seven local residents were injured as a result of the shelling and sought medical attention.

This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia OVA Ivan Fedorov.

The Oleksandrivskyi and Kosmichnyi districts of the city suffered the most damage. According to the regional authorities, nine residential buildings were damaged.

“Among them are five high-rise buildings and four private homes,” the post says.

Several non-residential buildings were also damaged.

The blast waves broke out windows in houses and damaged roofs. Municipal services began emergency repair work in the morning. Specialists have already covered the damaged windows with OSB boards in five apartment buildings, three private houses, and one non-residential building.

The city and regional authorities report that the primary work to eliminate the consequences of the attack has been completed. In the future, repair crews will work at the request of residents whose homes were damaged as a result of the night strike.

Russian attacks on the civilian infrastructure of Zaporizhia continue, and rescuers and utility workers continue to help residents overcome the consequences of another shelling.
