In the early hours of October 20, Pavlohrad shuddered under a barrage of Russian missiles and drones. The attack left behind burning buildings, shattered glass, and cries for help echoing through the dark — another night of terror for civilians in Ukraine’s industrial heartland.
This was announced by the acting head of the regional administration, Vladyslav Haivanenko.
The attack on Pavlohrad left 16 people injured. Fifteen of them were hospitalized — four in serious condition, the others in moderate condition.
An infrastructure facility in the city was damaged, sparking a large fire.
Russian drones also hit the Verbkivsk community in the Pavlohrad district, where another blaze broke out.
In addition, the occupiers shelled the Nikopol community with artillery and FPV drones. Strikes were recorded in the Pokrovsk and Myriv communities, as well as in the district center.
An agricultural enterprise, a residential high-rise, two private houses, two outbuildings, a gas pipeline, and power lines were damaged in the attack.
As a reminder, Russian occupation forces attacked a DT EK facility in the Dnipropetrovsk region; in particular, the enrichment plant came under enemy attack.
By the way, the Russian occupiers attacked the territory of Ukraine with 60 attack drones and three Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles.
