Ukrainian Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko has published further evidence of the transfer of the bodies of Russian servicemen killed in the Donetsk region as part of repatriation measures.
He wrote about this in Telegram .
“The enemy is deliberately making identification difficult for us, creating chaos, mixing the bodies of Russian military personnel with the bodies of Ukrainians,” the minister said.
Klymenko published documentary confirmation of the transfer of the body of Russian serviceman Alexander Bugaev, born in 1974, from the 39th Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade.
A passport, military ID, unit order, and a badge with the inscription “RUSSIAN ARMED FORCES” were found on him. Bugayev disappeared in March near Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, and his relatives searched in vain for answers.
According to the minister, Russia is deliberately transferring the bodies of its soldiers to Ukraine, mixing them with Ukrainian ones, in order to complicate the work of forensic experts and avoid responsibility to the families of the deceased. This is not only a humiliation of the memory of the fallen, but also another example of the Russian Federation’s treatment of its military as “material.”
“The world sees the difference: while Ukraine returns every one of its soldiers – with name and honor, Russia hides its own, uses them as material, and then forgets. The enemy’s strategy is not only to kill, but also to lie about death,” Klymenko emphasized.
By the way, Interior Minister Igor Klymenko said that Ukraine will need 14 months to identify the bodies of the deceased Ukrainian citizens transferred by the Russian Federation.
We will remind you that, as a result of the repatriation measures carried out , the bodies of 1,200 deceased were returned to Ukraine.
As reported, Ukraine returned the bodies of 1,212 fallen defenders from various directions , including Kursk.
