Russia mobilizes residents of occupied Luhansk region and sends them to war with Ukraine

The Russian army command mobilizes residents of temporarily occupied territories and sends them to southern directions to conduct combat operations.

This was stated in a comment to Ukrinform by the spokesman for the Southern Defense Forces, Vladyslav Voloshyn.

He noted that new soldiers had recently arrived in one of the Russian units, the vast majority of whom were residents of the occupied Luhansk region.

“Despite assurances from the Russian top military-political leadership that residents of temporarily occupied territories will not be recruited into the Russian army, they are currently mobilizing men,” the spokesman explained.

According to his information, the Russian command is sending mobilized people from the TOT to the front in the Kherson region.

Earlier, the Russian authorities launched a new wave of covert mobilization in Dagestan , in particular in the city of Makhachkala.

As a reminder, cadets of the Military Institute of Communications from St. Petersburg are undergoing “practice” at the front , while the main building of the educational institution remains empty.
