Russia plans to significantly increase the number of ballistic missiles for a single strike on Ukraine.

Russia intends to significantly increase the number of ballistic missiles it can simultaneously launch at Ukraine during a single massive air strike. This involves nearly tripling the potential salvo, from the current 77 to 200 missiles.

Robert “Magyar” Brovdy, commander of the Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces, stated this in an interview with the Associated Press.

According to him, Russian forces are theoretically capable of simultaneously launching up to 77 ballistic missiles. Moscow plans to increase this number to 200.

Brovdi called this scenario one of the greatest threats to Ukraine. The problem lies, in particular, in the shortage of interceptor missiles for the American Patriot systems—the unified system in Ukraine’s possession, capable of effectively countering ballistic missiles.

Due to the limited number of interceptors, some ballistic missiles may reach their targets during massive attacks.

“Even if they manage to achieve only half of that amount, it will all fall on us,” Madyar warned.

The SS commander also noted that one way to curb the buildup of Russian missile capabilities is to strike facilities involved in the production of such missiles.

According to him, this once again demonstrates the importance for Ukraine of long-range strikes against military and industrial facilities on Russian territory.

Earlier , Robert “Magyar” Brovdi, commander of the Unmanned Systems Force, reported that the number of Russian troops involved in assault operations in July increased compared to previous months. At the same time, he reported that UAS pilots also killed more invaders and destroyed more military targets.
