Russia prepares new meeting with Trump representatives

Russian President Vladimir Putin’s team is preparing for a new meeting with representatives of US President Donald Trump.

According to Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov, the talks are expected to take place in the coming weeks and will focus on eliminating “irritants” in bilateral relations.

Ryabkov said the meeting would take place “in the coming weeks.” According to him, such contacts between the parties have already become, to some extent, regular.

At the same time, the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation complained about what he believes is the slow pace of progress in the negotiations.

“However, we are not giving up on this, we will continue to move forward,” Ryabkov added.

Earlier, the head of the Presidential Office, Kirill Budanov, announced the intensification of the negotiation process to end the war. Ukraine is preparing for a new round of peace talks in October . This is a trilateral format involving Ukraine, Russia, and the United States.
