Russia recruits foreigners: Ukrainian Armed Forces capture Colombians near Pokrovskoye
Ukrainian military captured two Colombian citizens who fought on the side of Russia near Pokrovskoe. They were detained by soldiers of the 425th separate assault regiment “Skelya” of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This was reported by the regiment’s press service.
According to the prisoners, they came to Russia supposedly to work. They were promised a salary of $2,500 a month and employment in construction.
Upon arrival in Ufa, the men had their documents taken away, weapons were issued, and without proper food and water, they were sent to storm Ukrainian positions near Pokrovsk.
It was previously reported that the Russian occupiers transferred units formed from Ukrainian collaborators and prisoners of war to the Pokrovsky direction, trying to create a picture of a “civil war.”
