Russia reported on preparations for a 500-for-500 prisoner exchange with Ukraine

The head of the Russian delegation in negotiations with Ukraine and an assistant to the head of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Medinsky, stated that an exchange of prisoners of war between Ukraine and Russia may take place on March 5-6.
He published a corresponding post on his social networks.
According to him, this is an exchange in the format of 500 for 500 people, which was agreed upon during the negotiations in Geneva.
“As part of the agreements reached in Geneva, on March 5-6, an exchange of prisoners of war with Ukraine. 500 for 500,” Medinsky said.
As a reminder, Ukraine and the Russian Federation have held another round of prisoner exchange. 200 people returned from Russian captivity. Among them are defenders of Mariupol, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhia. In particular, servicemen of the Armed Forces, the State Special Transport Service, border guards, and National Guardsmen.
