Russia strikes Dnieper: people killed, children among the injured

On the night of Thursday, April 23, Russian occupation forces attacked the Dnipro. The strike caused fires in the city. Residential buildings were damaged.

This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Ganzha.

According to him, the enemy hit a multi-story building, setting several apartments on fire. Fires also broke out in various areas of the city.

Later, it became known about the victims.

“Two people died, nine were injured. Among them were two children,” Ganzha said.

The girls are 9 and 14 years old, and they were hospitalized. Several adults were also taken to the hospital, and their condition is assessed by doctors as moderate.

According to updated information, the attack partially destroyed an apartment building – three floors were destroyed. Rescuers were able to pull six people from under the rubble, including two children.

In addition, cars, a shop, and a non-residential building were damaged in the city. Emergency services are working at the scene of the strikes, and the elimination of the consequences is ongoing.

As a reminder, on the night of Wednesday, April 22, Russian occupation forces massively attacked several regions of Ukraine with drones and other types of weapons . The Odessa, Zaporizhia, and Sumy regions were under attack.
