Russia strikes DTEK TPP: generation completely stopped

Russian troops have launched another massive strike on one of DTEK’s thermal power plants. The attack caused the plant to completely stop generating electricity.

As a result of the shelling, the power equipment of the thermal power plant suffered serious damage.

Experts are currently assessing the extent of the damage. Energy workers will begin restoration work as soon as the security situation allows.

DTEK noted that Russia has regularly attacked the company’s energy facilities since the start of the full-scale war. During this time, Russian troops have struck DTEK’s thermal power plants more than 230 times.

It was previously reported that due to hostilities and damage to energy infrastructure, consumers in Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Odesa, Chernihiv, Kherson and Kharkiv regions are temporarily without electricity .
