Russia strikes Kharkiv and the region: houses, businesses and a school damaged

Russian occupation forces attacked Kharkiv and nine settlements in the region over the course of 24 hours. The shelling injured 11 people, including residents of Kharkiv and several communities in the region.

This was announced by the head of the Kharkiv OVA, Oleg Synegubov.

According to him, Kharkiv, Bogodukhiv, Vovchansk community, as well as settlements in Kharkiv, Kupyansk, Izyumsk, and Chuhuyiv districts were hit.

“Over the past day, the city of Kharkiv and nine settlements in the Kharkiv region have been subjected to enemy attacks,” Sinegubov reported.

In Kharkiv, four people were injured in the attack: three men aged 67, 44 and 53, as well as a 66-year-old woman. Hostile drones attacked the Kyivsky and Kholodnohirsky districts of the city.

In addition, six people were injured in Bogodukhiv: men aged 70, 64, and 20, and women aged 55, 45, and 32. Another 68-year-old woman was injured in the village of Berezhne, Vovchansk community.

It is also known about a man who blew himself up with an explosive device near the village of Petrivka in the Zolochiv community. Medics also provided assistance to a 57-year-old resident who was injured on June 10 during an attack in Vovchanske Khutory.

According to the OVA, the Russian army used various types of weapons in the Kharkiv region.

“The enemy struck with a missile, a guided bomb, drones such as Geran-2, Molniya, and FPV drones,” the regional administration noted.

The attacks damaged civilian infrastructure. In Kharkiv, a civilian enterprise was destroyed and cars were damaged.

In the regions of the region, residential buildings, garages, an educational institution, warehouses, an elevator, outbuildings, and power grids were damaged.

The most damage was recorded in the Bogodukhiv, Kupyansk, Izyum, Kharkiv and Chuguiv districts. Emergency services continue to eliminate the consequences of the Russian attacks.
