Russia strikes Kyiv: fires break out in two districts, one injured

On the night of Thursday, October 1, Russian occupation forces attacked Kyiv. The shelling caused fires in the Solomiansky and Obolonsky districts of the capital, and one person was injured.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

In Solomyanskyi district, a room on the first floor of a 16-story residential building caught fire. Cars parked nearby also caught fire. Rescuers extinguished the fire on an area of 80 square meters.

In the Obolonskyi district, a large-scale fire broke out in a warehouse building as a result of the attack. Emergency services extinguished the fire.

One person injured in the attack was handed over to medical personnel.
