Russia strikes Kyiv: houses damaged, casualties reported, including a 12-year-old girl

On the night of September 26, Russian occupiers launched a massive attack on Kyiv. The aftermath of the enemy attack was recorded in nearly 20 locations across six districts of the capital. People were injured and killed.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko announced this.
According to Klitschko, seven victims were hospitalized, and another woman received medical assistance at the scene.
Subsequently, as reported by the head of the Kyiv Military-Industrial Complex, Timur Tkachenko , the number of civilian deaths in Kyiv rose to three people.
In the Solomensky district, rescuers recovered the body of a dead woman from a five-story building where an attack resulted in partial destruction and a fire on the upper floors.
Also, in the Solomensky district of Kyiv, the body of a female, presumably a 12-year-old girl, was recovered.
According to the State Emergency Service, three people were rescued, and one was injured. Firefighters are on the scene. The fire is now contained.
The Cardiology Institute building was hit at another address. Unfortunately, two bodies were found at the scene. The fire has been contained.
As Tkachenko notes , reports of new calls and injuries are coming in at the same time. A kindergarten was damaged.
In the Darnitsky district, UAV debris fell on parked cars, a roadway, the grounds of a kindergarten, and a private home.
In the Svyatoshinsky district, debris damaged a two-story non-residential building, where a fire broke out. It has since been extinguished. Debris also fell in the courtyard of a residential building and in an open area.
In the Goloseevsky district, drone debris hit three private residential buildings.
In the Dniprovsky district, falling debris caused several cars in a parking lot to catch fire; the fire was quickly extinguished.
In the Obolonsky district, debris fell in several locations, including on non-residential buildings and, presumably, near residential buildings.
Klitschko noted that rescue operations and post-attack cleanup efforts are ongoing. An air raid alert remains in effect in Kyiv.
