Russia strikes Odessa: houses damaged, there are casualties

On the night of Thursday, March 19, the Russian occupation army attacked Odessa. As a result of the strikes, residential buildings were destroyed in several areas of the city, and there were casualties.

This was reported by the head of the Odessa MBA, Serhiy Lysak.

The most damaged districts were Primorsky, Kyivsky, and Khadzhibeysky. In particular, 12 residential buildings were damaged in Primorsky, and two people were hospitalized. Municipal services and an operational headquarters are working on the site, providing assistance to residents.

In the Kyivskyi district, a 22-story building and a university dormitory were damaged – about 180 windows were broken. More than 40 utility workers were involved in the liquidation of the consequences, and one victim was provided with assistance on the spot.

A two-story residential building was partially destroyed in the Khadzhibey district. The consequences of the shelling are already being eliminated, and the damaged windows are being closed.

Work is ongoing on the ground to clear the areas and assist residents.

As a reminder, on the night of March 18 , Russian military personnel dropped two aerial bombs on Kramatorsk, Donetsk region.

As reported, on Wednesday, March 18, Russian occupation forces attacked Sumy using an unidentified type of UAV, and the local territorial recruitment center was under attack.
