On the night of October 2, Russian troops struck critical infrastructure in Odessa. A large-scale fire broke out in the city. Some areas were left without electricity.

This is reported by local sources and official reports.

According to Odessa Mayor Gennady Trukhanov, the strike on the city was carried out using drones. The exact extent of the destruction and the consequences of the attack are currently being determined.

As a reminder, on Wednesday, October 1, the Russian army struck the energy infrastructure in Slavutych, Kyiv region. As a result of the enemy attack, a 330 kV substation was damaged, and the city lost power supply.

As reported, on Wednesday, October 1, the Russian army shelled the Nikopol and Synelnyk districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
