Russia strikes Poltava region: woman rescued from rubble

In Poltava region, residential buildings and infrastructure were damaged as a result of another Russian attack. The Poltava district was the worst affected, where one of the private houses was completely destroyed.

This is reported by the State Emergency Service.

An elderly woman was trapped under the rubble. Rescuers freed the victim and handed her over to medics.

“The woman was pulled from under the ruins of the house and immediately handed over to ambulance workers,” rescuers reported.

After the strikes, fires broke out in several places, but they were quickly extinguished.

82 rescuers and 21 units of State Emergency Service equipment were involved in the work to eliminate the consequences of the attack.

“All ignition sources after enemy strikes have already been eliminated,” the service noted.
