Russia strikes Sumy region and Kharkiv: there are deaths, houses damaged

On the night of Wednesday, April 29, Russian occupation forces attacked Sumy and Kharkiv regions. Residential areas were hit, and there were casualties and injuries.

In Sumy region, the Shostka community was the most affected. The occupiers hit civilian infrastructure with drones and missiles. Fires broke out in residential buildings as a result of the strikes.

As a result, a 60-year-old woman died. She was poisoned by carbon monoxide. Two more people sought medical attention. Some of the residents were evacuated.

The Kharkiv region was also hit. In Kharkov, in the Slobidskyi district, a blast wave broke out windows in high-rise buildings.

In the Nemyshlyansky district, about ten private houses were damaged, and one person was injured.

In addition, in the Osnovyansky district, the glazing of a hypermarket, a car, and two buses were damaged.
