Russia strikes UAV in Odessa: infrastructure facility damaged

On the night of December 26, Odesa was again attacked by Russian drones. As a result of the attack, one of the city’s infrastructure facilities was hit, which led to a fire.
This was reported by the head of the Odessa City Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak.
According to him, emergency and utility services quickly deployed to the scene. Rescuers are eliminating the consequences of the impact, and specialized specialists are checking the surrounding area for damage to civilian objects and residential buildings.
It is previously reported that there are no victims or injuries among the population.
The city authorities pay special attention to the situation on the coast. Specialists of the Ukrainian Scientific Center for Marine Ecology are analyzing the state of sea water and assessing possible environmental risks. By decision of the Commission on Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergency Situations, measures are underway to localize and eliminate possible pollution.
In parallel, energy services are working to restore power supply to the homes of Odessa residents who were left without power as a result of the attack.
Recall that recently, Russian troops have significantly intensified shelling of infrastructure facilities in Odessa and settlements in the region.
