On the night of June 15, the Russian army struck Ukraine’s energy infrastructure in a massive missile attack. As a result of the shelling, some consumers in Kyiv, as well as in Zaporizhia, Odesa, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions, were temporarily left without electricity.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.

The department noted that energy workers are doing everything possible to restore power supply to all consumers as soon as possible.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, one energy worker was injured as a result of hostile shelling of energy infrastructure. He was hospitalized and provided with the necessary medical care.

In addition, due to the bad weather, some consumers in Kyiv were also left without electricity. Power engineers have already begun emergency restoration work.

The Ministry of Energy emphasized that restrictions on electricity supply for the population and businesses are not expected today.

At the same time, Ukrainians were urged to use electricity rationally. The best time for active consumption is from 10:00 to 16:00. During the evening peak hours, from 18:00 to 22:00, it is recommended to limit the use of powerful electrical appliances to reduce the load on the power system.
