Russia strikes Ukrainian business: Epicenter, Rozetka, and Nova Poshta among victims

As a result of a massive Russian missile and drone attack on the night of August 5, the logistics and production infrastructure of a number of Ukrainian companies suffered significant damage. Warehouses, logistics complexes, a post office, and production facilities were damaged or destroyed.
This was reported by the press service of the Epicenter company, as well as a number of Ukrainian media outlets.
The company ” Epicenter” suffered the greatest losses. According to its data, one of the key logistics centers of the network on Viskozna Street in Kyiv completely burned down. An employee of the company died in the logistics and production complex in Kalynivka, and three more employees were injured and are in the hospital.
In addition, Russian missiles completely destroyed two large warehouse complexes. One of them also hit the production site of Epicentr Ceramic Corporation , destroying all production furnaces. As a result, the company completely stopped work. A parking lot near the logistics complex burned down, destroying 20 employee cars.
The company announced that to ensure uninterrupted supply, the production of ceramic products will be temporarily transferred to two foreign enterprises, and another production site in Ukraine is also being prepared for launch. According to preliminary estimates, the full restoration of the destroyed facilities will take at least a year and a half, and most likely about two years.
It is also reported that the main warehouse of the online retailer Rozetka was destroyed in Brovary as a result of Russian strikes, along with the goods stored there.
In addition, the Nova Poshta branch in the Obolonsky district of Kyiv, the warehouses of the Novus retail chain in Borshchahivka, the facilities of the logistics company Raben Group and the trade and industrial group Fozzy Group were damaged.
In particular, Epicenter emphasized that it is currently impossible to definitively assess the scale of the damage, and called the Russian attack a targeted strike on Ukrainian production, logistics, and workplaces.
It was previously reported that on the night of August 5, Russian troops carried out a combined missile and drone attack on Kyiv.
It was also reported that air quality in Kyiv had significantly deteriorated after the night attack .
