Russia strikes Zaporizhia: there are casualties, houses and gas stations damaged

On the night of Tuesday, June 23, Russian occupation forces struck the Zaporizhia district. The attack damaged a private house, a service station, and a gas station. Two elderly people were also injured.

As reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia OVA, Ivan Fedorov, residential buildings and outbuildings located nearby were damaged due to the shelling.

“As a result of the enemy strike on the Zaporizhia district, private houses and nearby outbuildings were damaged,” Fedorov noted.

After the attack, fires broke out in the residential sector. Rescuers quickly extinguished the fire and prevented it from spreading.

Two local residents sought medical attention — a 73-year-old man and a 73-year-old woman.

Currently, experts continue to establish the scale of the destruction caused by another Russian attack.
