Russia struck a residential building in Kharkiv: there are dead, many injured, including children

Russian occupation forces launched strikes on Kharkiv on Wednesday morning, July 8, using drones to attack the city. The Nemyshlyansky and Kyivsky districts came under fire. The attack on a residential building killed two people and injured at least 13 others, including three children.

This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv OVA, Oleg Synegubov.

According to him, at least three hits were recorded in the Nemyshlyansky district. One of the Russian drones hit a five-story residential building.

Initially, nine people were reported injured and one person was killed. Later, the number of injured people increased to 13. Among the injured were children aged 14, 16 and 17.

Later, the head of the region reported another victim of the attack. Thus, according to the latest data, two people died as a result of the strike on the Nemyshlyansky district.

In addition, in the morning, Russian drones attacked the Kyivsky district of Kharkiv. There, a hit was recorded on the territory of a gas station, which caused a fire. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.

Rescuers, medics, and other emergency services are working at the scene of the attacks. Information about the consequences of the attack is being clarified.

As previously reported, on the night of Wednesday, July 8, Russian occupation forces launched a missile strike on Kyiv. The attack caused fires in the capital, injured two people, and damaged administrative buildings, warehouses, and trams.
