In the Dnipropetrovsk region, another Russian attack knocked out power to eight coal mines. 2,595 miners were trapped underground.
The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine reported this.
Rescuers and mine personnel quickly organized the evacuation of people to the surface. According to preliminary information, there are no fatalities or injuries.
“Russia continues its energy terror. Another strike has put the lives of thousands of miners at risk. Russia continues to wage war on civilians. The Russians’ tactics are clear: to leave Ukrainians without power and heat this winter,” noted Minister Svetlana Grinchuk.
As a reminder, on November 6, Russian occupation forces attacked Pavlograd in the Dnipropetrovsk region using drones .
