Russia struck the American Mondelez factory in Trostyanets.

On the night of February 22, Russian military launched a missile strike on the American Mondelez International factory in Trostyanets, Sumy Oblast, where chocolate, cookies, and coffee are made.

This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sybiha .

According to him, the missile hit one of the production buildings. There were no casualties as a result of the attack.

“This is not a military target, but a factory that has been operating since the 1990s, producing products from world-renowned brands, employing Ukrainians, and contributing to our and the American economy,” Sybiha noted. He emphasized that the factory is one of the first major investments in Ukraine’s independent economy.

The company produces products of such brands as Korona , Toblerone , Milka , Oreo , Barney , Dirol , Tuk , Lux , Jacobs and Carte Noire .

As a reminder, on the night of February 22, Russian troops launched attacks on Ukrainian territory using drones and missiles.
