Russia struck Ukraine with Iskander and a hundred drones: how it practiced air defense

Since last evening, the Russian occupation army has been attacking Ukraine with Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 111 drones of various types. The Air Defense Forces managed to shoot down 88 UAVs.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Thus, from 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 29, the Russian invaders used an Iskander-M ballistic missile and 111 drones of various types, including Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas, to strike Ukraine.
The military notes that the missile was launched from the Voronezh region of the Russian Federation, the drones from the directions of Bryansk, Orel, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as temporarily occupied Donetsk.
About 70 enemy targets turned out to be Shahed-type kamikaze drones.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:00 on Friday, air defenses had shot down/jammed 80 enemy drones.
At 15 locations, ballistic missile hits and 25 enemy strike UAVs were recorded, and at two more, downed drones (fragments) fell.
The Air Force stressed that the attack is ongoing. Several more Russian UAVs are being spotted in the skies over Ukraine. Citizens are urged to follow safety rules.
