Russia under attack from drones: in Yeltsin — a new attack on a facility of defense importance

In the city of Yelets, Lipetsk region of the Russian Federation, smoke has been recorded on the territory of a strategically important facility. According to preliminary information, this is the Energia plant, which was allegedly the target of a drone strike.
Russian Telegram channels are reporting the incident.
At night, the highest level of alert – red – was declared in the region due to the threat of an air attack. This was stated in an official address by the Governor of the Lipetsk Region, Igor Artamonov.
In addition, the sounds of explosions were heard by residents of the Voronezh and Rostov regions. According to the head of the Voronezh region, air defense systems detected and neutralized several UAVs in the vicinity of the city and in one of the districts. According to preliminary data, there were no casualties or significant damage. Despite this, the air threat regime continues to operate.
In the Rostov region, authorities also claim that no injuries or damage to infrastructure have been recorded so far.
The Russian Ministry of Defense, in turn, stated that during the night, air defense forces allegedly destroyed 55 enemy drones.
As a reminder, on the night of July 11 , the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck two facilities of the Russian military-industrial complex.
