Russia uses drone to attack passenger train in Mykolaiv: one injured

On Wednesday, March 4, an enemy kamikaze drone “Shahed” attacked a passenger train at the train station in Mykolaiv. After being hit, one of the carriages caught fire, and rescuers quickly began extinguishing the fire.
This was announced by the head of the OVA, Vitaliy Kim.

The incident occurred in the morning during an airstrike, which was reported by eyewitnesses. Photos and video from the scene show the station and a burning carriage near the platform.
“A man sustained minor injuries and was hospitalized,” Kim’s post said.
So far, Ukrzaliznytsia and the regional military administration of Mykolaiv region have not officially commented on the attack.
Subsequently, the Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine – Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksiy Kuleba wrote that the drone hit an empty train that had arrived for maintenance.
“Unfortunately, one employee of Ukrzaliznytsia was injured. He was provided with all necessary medical assistance,” the politician noted.
