Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the Russian side will strengthen its negotiating position regarding the settlement of the war in Ukraine and will conduct negotiations primarily with the United States.

This was reported by propaganda media.

According to him, Russia is allegedly not withdrawing from the negotiation process, however, against the background of unconfirmed statements about an “attack on Putin’s residence,” there will be changes in its position.

The Kremlin spokesman noted that he would not publicly explain how exactly the Russians’ “negotiating position” would be strengthened.

“Russia will continue the negotiation process and dialogue primarily with the Americans,” Peskov said.

Among other things, he called information denying claims about a drone attack on the residence by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Western media “crazy statements.”

As a reminder, Russia stated that Ukrainian drones allegedly attacked Putin’s residence on the night of December 29. Volodymyr Zelensky called them a deceptive tactic by the Russians to thwart diplomatic efforts and justify further shelling of Ukraine.

By the way, Trump, for his part, was apparently shocked and outraged by the “attempted attack on Putin’s residence.” At the same time, he suggested that this might not have happened.
