Russian Army Attacked Ukraine with 40 Drones: How Many Were Shot Down by Air Defense

On the night of September 12, the Russians attacked Ukraine with 40 attack drones of the Shahed, Gerbera and other types. Air defense neutralized 33 hostile targets.

The Ukrainian Air Force reported this.

In particular, among the 40 drones launched by the Russian Federation, more than 20 were of the “Shahed” type.

The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

The Air Force managed to suppress the activity of the invaders’ drones in the north, east and center of the country.

It is also reported that 6 attack drones were hit in 3 locations.

Let us recall that on September 12, Russian drones attacked the city of Sumy . As a result of the strike, one person was killed – the body of a security guard was found under the rubble of a destroyed building.
