Russian army attacks Ukrainian brigade training ground: there are dead and wounded

Today, June 22, the enemy launched a missile attack on the training ground of one of the mechanized brigades of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where training was being conducted with military personnel.

The press service of the Ground Forces reported this.

It is noted that, thanks to timely security measures taken upon receiving an air raid alarm signal, it was possible to avoid numerous losses of personnel.

“However, unfortunately, there are dead and wounded. All victims are promptly provided with all necessary qualified assistance in medical institutions,” the military added.

It is reported that a special commission has been created in the Command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to thoroughly clarify all the circumstances of the incident.

Law enforcement agencies are also working at the scene.

“At the same time, additional security measures are being taken to preserve the lives and health of military personnel in the event of repeated missile and air strikes by the aggressor state,” the press service added.

Subsequently, the Ground Forces provided updated information: three people were killed and 11 were wounded.

“Update: As of 17:27, 3 people are known to have died and 11 injured,” the statement said.

Let us recall that on June 4, the Russian occupation army launched a missile attack on the territory of one of the training units in the Poltava region .

Also on May 21, Russian occupation forces attacked a Defense Forces training ground in the Sumy region.

As reported, on March 1, one of the units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces became the target of a missile strike by an Iskander-M ballistic missile . At the time of the strike, the military were lined up at a training ground in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
