Russian Army Fires on Ambulance in Kharkiv Region

Russian occupiers shelled the village of Kovsharovka in the Kupyansk district. As a result of the attack, two medics who were responding to a call were injured.

This was reported by the Kharkiv Region Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine.

“This morning did not start with good news… At 09:40 in the village of Kovsharovka, brigade No. 2307 was injured during an artillery attack. Our colleagues were injured: a paramedic and a medical technician,” the report says.

The car was also damaged.

“The team was on their way to a call to save lives… but they themselves found themselves under fire. Despite everything, the call was completed by another team. You are real heroes. We wish our colleagues a speedy recovery and thank everyone who continues to stand guard over life,” the statement reads.

On August 19, in the Kupyansk region, during a call, a Russian drone hit an ambulance, as a result of which two medical workers received blast injuries.

Let us recall that according to the General Staff, 205 combat clashes have occurred on the Russian-Ukrainian front . The hottest situation remains in the Pokrovsky direction.
