Russian army launched massive attack on Odessa at night, legendary Privoz market damaged

On the night of July 22, Russian troops launched a massive drone strike on Odessa.

The attack damaged civilian infrastructure, in particular, the enemy hit a 9-story residential building. As noted by the State Emergency Service, due to the shelling, residents of apartments from the 5th to the 8th floors were left homeless, there is a threat of collapse of the structures.

Rescuers evacuated 33 people, and another 5 people who were trapped in apartments were rescued.

In addition, damage to architectural monuments in the city’s historic center, which is under UNESCO protection, was recorded. The shelling also resulted in a fire at the Privoz market.

Also on the night of Thursday, July 24, Russian occupation forces launched a missile attack on Cherkassy. As a result of the enemy attack, large-scale fires broke out in the city, and the number of victims is seven people, including a child.
