Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi reported that the losses of the Russian army at the front have exceeded the replenishment of its personnel for 3 months in a row. At the same time, the Kremlin has no intention of stopping offensive operations.

According to the commander-in-chief, despite Russia’s significant losses on the battlefield, the Russian leadership continues offensive operations against Ukraine.
“At the moment, the Kremlin has no intention of stopping offensive actions, although it is suffering significant losses on the battlefield, which for 3 months in a row have exceeded the replenishment of the Russian army,” said Oleksandr Syrsky.
He announced this during a meeting with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Sweden, General Mikael Klasson, who is visiting Ukraine.
“I had a meaningful meeting with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Sweden, General Mikael Klasson,” Syrsky noted.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also informed the Swedish general about the operational situation on the front. According to him, the active line of combat operations is currently about 1,200 km.
In addition, the parties discussed Ukraine’s needs for military equipment and weapons.
Syrsky thanked Sweden for its support for Ukraine and military assistance to the Defense Forces, in particular for 21 aid packages, which include modern air defense systems, Deep Strike systems, and ammunition.
“Stockholm remains a committed participant in coalitions for the development of Ukraine’s air force, naval forces, unmanned systems, armored vehicles, demining, and information technologies,” Syrsky said.
He also emphasized that Sweden’s active participation in these initiatives contributes to the consolidation of international support for Ukraine.
“The example of such activity by Sweden is important for consolidating the joint efforts of partners to force Russia to peace,” said the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to Syrsky, Ukraine’s military cooperation with NATO partners plays an important role for European security.
“I expressed my belief that fruitful military cooperation with our NATO partners here in Ukraine is laying the foundations for a new security architecture for all of Europe,” he said.
During his visit to Ukraine, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Sweden, Mikael Klasson, awarded Oleksandr Syrskyi the Gold Medal of the Swedish Armed Forces.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that the award was awarded for Syrsky’s personal contribution to the defense of Ukraine.
“General Syrsky was awarded this medal for his personal contribution to the defense of Ukraine. His life and selfless actions in the performance of his duty to his state are an outstanding example of courage, resilience, and a vivid illustration of the determination of the Ukrainian people and their proud struggle against Russian aggression,” said Mikael Klasson.
He also emphasized the importance of the actions of the Ukrainian military leadership for the security of the European region.
“With strength and unwavering dedication, General Syrsky defends not only Ukraine, but also the freedom, democracy, and territorial integrity of the rest of Europe. For this, he receives the eternal gratitude, admiration, and friendship of the Kingdom of Sweden,” said Klasson.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine explained that the Gold Medal of the Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Sweden is one of the country’s highest military decorations. It is awarded to military personnel, civilian personnel, and foreign citizens who have made a significant contribution to the development of international military cooperation and strengthening Sweden’s defense capabilities.
By the way, as of the morning of March 13, Russia had lost about 1,277,620 military personnel since the start of its full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Over the course of the day, the enemy’s losses in manpower reached 860 people.
The day before, Syrsky said that the war against Russia was entering a new stage , where unmanned systems and the increase in so-called “no-go zones” play a key role.
