Russian army strikes recreation center in Zaporizhzhya district, casualties reported

On the morning of August 6, Russian troops launched an airstrike on a recreation center in one of the settlements of the Zaporizhzhya district. As a result of the attack, two people were killed and 12 more were injured.

This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhya OVA, Ivan Fedorov.

According to him, the occupiers carried out at least four strikes, probably with FAB aerial bombs. Among the victims were four children. Five people are in hospital in serious and moderate condition.

The State Emergency Service specified that the airstrike occurred at about 06:00. The attack caused fires – a yard building and cars caught fire. At least nine one-story holiday homes were damaged.

Rescuers evacuated vacationers, and the wounded were taken to medical facilities.
