Russian assault groups disguised as civilians in the east

The Russian occupation army on the Eastern Front is actively trying to infiltrate with assault groups, including under the guise of civilians.

This was stated by Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council.

At the same time, the head of the Central Defense Center emphasized that the Defense Forces of Ukraine systematically thwart these attempts and carry out countermeasures.

“In addition to the large number of UAVs, the current war on all sectors of the eastern front is characterized by demonstrative attempts by the Russians to infiltrate cities with assault groups (sometimes in civilian clothes),” the post says.

In addition, in parallel, Russian troops are trying to cover the positions of the Defense Forces.

“At the same time, the Russian Federation is trying to stretch the flanks, bypass and pincer, accompanying these actions with FABs and CABs, and strike drones,” Kovalenko noted.

However, Kovalenko adds, Ukrainian defenders constantly oppose these intentions.

As reported, for some time now , Myrnograd in the Donetsk region has remained one of the priority settlements in the Pokrovsky direction for the Russian occupiers.
