Russian attack destroys PUMA, INTERTOP, and Toyota warehouses, Silpo employees killed

The massive Russian attack on the night of August 5 damaged the logistics infrastructure of several large companies. PUMA, INTERTOP, and Toyota Ukraine reported the loss of warehouses, and the Silpo chain confirmed the death of six employees.

PUMA said that the Russian attack completely destroyed the brand’s logistics complex. As a result, there may be a shortage of certain products in Ukraine in the coming weeks, and possibly months.

INTERTOP Ukraine reported the complete destruction of the company’s main logistics warehouse – the DENKA LOGISTICS complex, which for over 15 years was the main logistics hub of MTI Group. The company noted that all personnel survived, but a significant part of the inventory, equipment and logistics infrastructure was lost along with the warehouse. INTERTOP is currently restructuring logistics processes to minimize the consequences for customers.

Toyota Ukraine also reported a loss of spare parts and related goods. The company is already working to restore logistics, but warned of possible delays in the supply of individual spare parts, accessories and consumables.

The most tragic consequences of the attack were recorded on the Silpo network. The Russian strike caused fires at two of the company’s distribution centers.

According to the latest data, six workers died. Information about the number of injured is still being clarified.
