Russian attack on Kyiv: drone debris falls near Independence Monument

On Monday, March 16, during a Russian air attack on Kyiv, debris from an enemy drone fell in the center of the capital, near the Independence Monument.

This was reported by local newspapers.

The released footage shows part of the drone lying between the steles placed on Independence Square.

The site where the Russian UAV’s wreckage fell has now been blocked off with red restrictive tape.

However, so far neither the head of the KMVA nor the mayor have reported or commented on the falling debris near the monument.

Klitschko only noted that the wreckage of a drone fell in the Shevchenko district, the center of the capital. According to him, there were no injuries or a fire.

As a reminder, Russia attacked Kyiv, and air defense forces were operating in the capital amid UAV strikes.
