As of the morning of August 27, consumers in six regions of Ukraine are without electricity due to Russian strikes on civilian infrastructure. Energy workers are already carrying out emergency restoration work where the security situation allows.

This was reported by NPC Ukrenergo.

According to the company, new power outages were recorded in Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, and Odessa regions.

At the same time, electricity consumption as of 9:30 a.m. on August 27 was 4.7% lower than the day before. Ukrenergo noted that this was due to clear weather, which ensures more efficient operation of home solar power plants, as well as cooler temperatures, which caused Ukrainians to use air conditioners less.

Energy experts urged citizens to postpone the most energy-intensive consumption to the period from 11:00 to 15:00, when solar generation works most efficiently.

Instead, in the evening hours, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, it is recommended to avoid turning on powerful electrical appliances and limit electricity consumption if possible.
