On the night of Wednesday, May 27, a series of explosions were heard in occupied Sevastopol. The city came under massive missile and drone attack.
This was stated by the so-called “governor” of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev.
According to him, the city was hit, including by Storm Shadow missiles.
He claims that one of the missiles hit the building of the Southern Department of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation. After the impact, a fire broke out – the roof caught fire, and in neighboring buildings, the blast wave broke out windows and damaged balconies.
There are also reports of destruction on Lastova Square, where an eight-story residential building was damaged by the shock wave. Another blow, according to the occupation authorities, fell on the Gogolya Street area – an administrative building was damaged there, which, as noted, had not been used for a long time. Windows were also broken in the surrounding high-rise buildings.
Despite the scale of the destruction, Razvozhaev stated that there were allegedly no casualties from the attack.
At the same time, information appeared on local social networks about a possible hit on the building of the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet Air Force on Gogol Street. There is currently no official confirmation of this information.
As a reminder, on the night of Wednesday, May 27, explosions were heard again in Russia. Several facilities in the Krasnodar Territory and Rostov Region were attacked at once . After the drone strikes, large-scale fires broke out, and footage of thick smoke and fire was published on social networks.
