Russian DRG penetrated the center of Pokrovsk and killed civilians: the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated the invaders

In Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, Ukrainian military forces eliminated a Russian sabotage and reconnaissance group that killed several civilians near a railway station. After the attack, defense forces discovered and destroyed militants hiding in the city.

This was reported by the 7th Rapid Reaction Corps of the Airborne Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of the Ukrainian SSR.

The incident occurred in the central areas of Pokrovsk. Russian DRG entered the city and opened fire on civilians. The attack killed at least three people, including a woman shot in the back, an elderly man, and a woman with wounded legs.

According to Ukrainian volunteer Denys Hrystov, the incident occurred near Mostovoye Lane, not far from the train station. One of the local men carried the injured woman to safety, trying to save her.

Hristov reported that a Russian assault group had broken into the center of Pokrovsk, where numerous crimes had been recorded. The Ukrainian military subsequently destroyed the group.

After the attack, the joint strike and search group of the Defense Forces discovered the saboteurs’ hiding places in the station building and other areas of the city and eliminated the threat.

The 7th Corps of the Airborne Assault Forces emphasized that special units are constantly monitoring possible enemy penetration routes and are intensively patrolling Pokrovsk.

“The situation remains tense in the zone of responsibility of the 7th Corps of the DShV. The enemy wants to expand the “gray zone” around Pokrovsk. The occupiers are trying to penetrate the city from several directions,” the military noted.

By the way, in the temporarily occupied part of the Kharkiv region, a Russian soldier shot three civilians in the entrance of a residential building. Earlier, in the Donetsk region, in the village of Shandryholove, Russian invaders shot a family of civilians and took a girl hostage to cover the advance of their troops.
