Russian drone attacks energy workers’ car in Odessa region: one dead and one injured

A Russian drone attacked a DTEK energy company vehicle in the Odessa region. One worker was killed and another was injured. In total, three people were injured as a result of the Russian Federation’s massive attack on civilian and critical infrastructure in the region.

It is noted that after the air raid alert was announced, the DTEK “Odessa Electric Networks” brigade vehicle drove away from the substation. However, the Russian drone changed course and attacked the vehicle.
“Today, a DTEK brigade vehicle was attacked by a Russian drone in the Odessa region. Unfortunately, one of our colleagues was killed and another was injured,” the company said in a statement.
The injured electrician is being provided with the necessary medical care, and DTEK is providing his treatment.
At the same time, during the day, Russian troops massively attacked civilian and critical infrastructure in the Odessa region. An infrastructure facility, as well as a production and warehouse building of an enterprise, were damaged in the region. In total, three people were injured.
Rescuers quickly extinguished the fires. Relevant services are working at the sites of the strikes, and law enforcement officers are documenting yet another war crime by the Russian Federation.
DTEK expressed its condolences to the family and friends of the deceased employee.
“Eternal memory to the power engineers who died for the light,” DTEK added.
It was previously reported that a Russian drone attacked a car carrying foreign journalists in Slavyansk. The strike occurred on September 24, and the journalists’ equipment and protective gear were burned as a result of the attack.
