Russian drone hits shop in Chernihiv region: one dead and one injured

Monday morning, October 13, began with another hostile attack in the Chernihiv region. A Russian drone hit a store in the town of Semenivka, Novgorod-Siverskyi district, causing a fire and casualties.
As reported by the Chernihiv Oblast State Emergency Service, one person died and another was injured as a result of the impact. The victim was hospitalized, and his condition is currently being clarified.
“Another morning in the Chernihiv region – again under enemy attacks,” the rescuers noted.
All emergency services are working on the scene, eliminating the consequences of the attack and clearing the rubble.
The State Emergency Service also released footage from the scene: the store building is partially destroyed, with debris, traces of fire, and scattered goods all around.
This is not the first shelling of the border areas of the region in recent weeks. Russia continues to attack civilian infrastructure with drones, and energy facilities are constantly under attack.
