Russian Missile and Drone Attack Damages German Cargo Ship Near Odesa, Leaving Vessel Disabled and on Fire.

According to the publication, Russian drones attacked the bulk carrier on August 5, when it was approximately 21 nautical miles (about 39 kilometers) from the port of Odesa.

The impacts caused several technical systems on the ship to fail, causing it to lose propulsion. In addition, a fire broke out on board.

As DW notes, during the evacuation of the crew, a Russian drone struck another cargo ship.

The Emil is flying the flag of Liberia but is owned by the German shipping company Johann MK Blumenthal of Hamburg.

According to the publication, on the same day, the Mera Queen ship, which was transporting grain and flying the flag of Guinea-Bissau, was also hit by a Russian strike.

It was previously reported that a Russian attack on the night of August 5 in the Kyiv region destroyed a warehouse with finished products of the JTI Ukraine company. Also damaged were the goods of Imperial Brands Ukraine, which were stored in the warehouses of partners.

As we already know, the massive Russian attack on the night of August 5 affected the logistics infrastructure of several large companies. PUMA, INTERTOP, and Toyota Ukraine reported the loss of warehouses, and the Silpo chain confirmed the death of six employees.
