On the night of December 8, Russian troops struck a multi-story building in the city of Okhtyrka, Sumy region, with three drones.
This was announced by the head of the OVA, Oleg Grigorov.
As of now, seven people are known to have been injured. All people were taken to a medical facility: two were hospitalized, the others were provided with assistance and released for outpatient treatment.
According to Grigorov, the building hit by Russian drones suffered significant damage. Some residents, upon hearing the threat, went down to the basement, while rescuers unblocked some on the upper floors.
“The enemy targeted civilian infrastructure. Cynically and meanly. Once again, at a time when people were sleeping in their homes,” the head of the administration emphasized.
A headquarters has been deployed to eliminate the consequences of the strike. There are also emergency response centers nearby, where residents of damaged homes are provided with necessary assistance.
The day before, Russian occupation troops shelled at least five settlements in the Kharkiv region, resulting in deaths and injuries.
Earlier it became known that the enemy launched a second massive combined air strike on the territory of Ukraine . Fastiv and Kremenchuk were under attack.
