Russian drones hit the port of Izmail: a Panamanian-flagged ship and infrastructure were damaged

Russian forces attacked the port infrastructure of Izmail in the Odessa region at night. Attack drones hit the port area, damaging a Panamanian-flagged vessel and infrastructure facilities.
This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister for Recovery – Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksiy Kuleba.
According to him, Russian forces are targeting the logistics of the region. Several hits were recorded in Izmail, one of which caused a fire, which was quickly extinguished by rescuers. There were no injuries.
The Ukrainian Navy clarified that the civilian vessel “LADY MARIS” was hit, which was heading to the port of Chornomorsk to load Ukrainian corn. The crew was not injured, and a Navy boat promptly arrived at the scene to provide assistance.
The head of the Odessa OVA, Oleg Kiper, confirmed the attack and reported additional destruction. The pier, barge, equipment and infrastructure in the port were damaged. As a result of the strike, a service station building was destroyed with subsequent fire, two passenger buses, seven cars were destroyed, and an ambulance was also damaged.
In addition, six private homes were damaged – their roofs were torn off. Emergency services are working on the scene.
It was previously reported that Russian occupation forces struck the infrastructure of Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipropetrovsk region for the second time in a few hours.
As a reminder, Russian occupation forces launched a drone strike on an administrative building in Chernihiv.
