Russian electronic warfare complex “Murmansk-BN” hit in Crimea

On the night of July 27, units of the Unmanned Systems Department of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine struck the Russian coastal electronic warfare complex “Murmansk-BN” near Cape Fiolent in temporarily occupied Crimea.
This was reported by the Military Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Intelligence noted that the attack destroyed an expensive EW station of the occupiers.
“The Murmansk was burned in Crimea – the GUR masters were hunting down the occupiers’ expensive electronic warfare station,” the report says.
According to the GUR, the Murmansk-BN complex is designed for radio reconnaissance, interception and suppression of signals in the short-wave range. Its declared operating range is up to 5 thousand kilometers.
At the same time, the intelligence did not specify the approximate cost of the destroyed complex.
The GUR also released a video recording the moment the Russian electronic warfare station was hit.
It was previously reported that the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a Russian MiG-29 fighter jet at one of the airfields in the Kursk region.
